GREEN Party leader John Gormley was talking sense when he told former MEP Patricia McKenna to "get on with her life".

Her claim that the Green Party's support for a Yes vote in the second Lisbon referendum is a boost for the No side is childish.

Ms McKenna left the party in May after she failed to get an election nomination.

Now she is doing her best to undermine the Greens' decision on Lisbon Treaty.

If she was that concerned about the Greens' position on Europe she should have stayed within its ranks and cast her vote like every other member of it.
