A throwback to past horrors.THE scourge of sectarian hatred has once again resurfaced in the North with this weekend's callous cal·lous adj. Of, relating to, or characteristic of a callus or callosity. callous of the nature of a callus; hard. murder in Coleraine. Kevin McDaid was killed by monsters with not the least shred of human decency. His final act on earth was to help a neighbour who was being attacked by a mob. He paid for that courage with his life. His death poses serious questions for unionist politicians as loyalists Loyalists, in the American Revolution, colonials who adhered to the British cause. The patriots referred to them as Tories. Although Loyalists were found in all social classes and occupations, a disproportionately large number were engaged in commerce and the were involved in the outrage.
