You can spend all day every day there if you want - and entry to that is included in the price of your holiday. Other activities - which have to be paid for in addition to your holiday price - start at Messy Play for Busy Bees at 18 months of age and go right through to your dotage. Our teenager took on the Pro-Kart Challenge (pounds 50 a session), careering around an off-site track at up to 40mph and pronounced it "wicked." No greater accolade could be paid. The Elveden Inn is a free house just beyond the Parc gates but if you want to venture further afield the country town of Thetford across the border with Norfolk is worth a visit. The high street has all the usual suspects in terms of stores but the King's House Gardens just behind make the six - mile trip worthwhile. These were donated to the town in 1947 by George Wild Stamforth and are a haven of rustic tranquility.
