The tasting focused on the small but growing number of women vintners, an apt choice for this exclusive group of industry pioneers. Like the vintners they toasted, the women of CREW*NY are making -- and leaving -- their mark. CREW*NY's newly elected president is Caroline A. Harcourt, a partner at the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop. Despite her principal involvement in two of the year's biggest deals -- she's representing AOL (A division of Time Warner, Inc., New York, NY, www.aol.com) The world's largest online information service with access to the Internet, e-mail, chat rooms and a variety of databases and services. Time Warner on the Columbus Circle Columbus Circle, named for Christopher Columbus, is a major landmark and point of attraction in the New York City borough of Manhattan. Completed in 1905 and renovated a century later, it is located at the intersection of Broadway, Central Park West, Central Park South (59th redevelopment and the New York Stock Exchange New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) World's largest marketplace for securities. The exchange began as an informal meeting of 24 men in 1792 on what is now Wall Street in New York City. on the development of its new trading facility -- Harcourt graciously found time to discuss CREW*NY. What is CREW*NY? CREW*NY is an invitation-only professional association for senior-level women representing the various sectors of commercial real estate in the New York area. Our members are among the most accomplished in their respective fields, representing the best in areas such as architecture, brokerage, development, engineering, finance, and law.
