 Company of St. Louis, Mo., has been making size-reduction equipment that has been used by loyal customers in several industrial markets.

From its origins in coal pulverizing, the company soon widened its efforts to address other markets, including the crushing of metal turnings and other forms of scrap.

By the early 1950s, American Pulverizer was making 60-inch-diameter shredders for processing ferrous ferrous (fĕr`əs), iron in the +2 valence state.

The principal owners of both companies are brothers Chris and Paul Griesedieck, whose family has helped guide the companies through several decades of growth based on innovation, product quality and the integrity of each and every employee.

Recyclers around the world may or may not know of the long histories of American Pulverizer and Hustler Conveyor. What they do know about the two companies is their current status as suppliers who build the fight equipment to meet their needs at the right price, on time and with service and support that causes them to be lifelong, loyal customers.
