A smaller Falcon to watch.

In synergy with our article <<Hand On the Trigger,, on page 38 of this issue, Harris has released a new Falcon Watch RB-5400VH-SS Mini-Sensor as an integral part of the company's Falcon Watch remote intrusion detection and surveillance system. The sensor uses seismic, magnetic or passive infrared detectors, and reports on any activity with customised voice prompts or short data bursts. The 363-gram unit is roughly 9 x 8 x 5 cm--small enough to be transported to a mission and concealed; left there to operate for up to six months without having to replace the lithium 9-volt batteries. A tamper alarm alerts the user if the unit is disturbed after system set-up.
