A showstopper.READY PAC'S NEW LINE OF FRESH FRUIT AND YOGURT PARFAITS WERE A HIT with attendees visiting the company's booth at United Fresh 2012--and they won an award to back it up. The United Fresh Produce Association gave Ready Pac the Best New Fruit Product Award for the five varieties of parfaits that will begin shipping this summer."We are very proud of the fresh fruit parfaits and we are honored to have received the Best New Fruit Product award at United Fresh," says Tristan Simpson, the company's director of marketing. "By merchandising the parfaits, supermarkets offer a perfect pantry-load breakfast and light meal solution, and have an opportunity to reclaim sales lost due to customer attention at other trade channels." The parfaits include low-fat vanilla vanilla, a plant of the genus Vanilla of the family Orchidaceae (orchid family). Vines of hot, damp climates, most are indigenous to Central and South America, especially Mexico, but are now cultivated in other tropical regions. yogurt, granola and 100% fresh fruit, with no added sugars, syrups or dyes, which the company points out as a key differential point versus other in-house parfaits.
