A show that is... rubbish!


A musical cast used recycling waste to create a symphony of noise for their latest theatre production. Performers from the show Stomp, who have been playing in the Wales Millennium Centre The Wales Millennium Centre (Welsh: Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru) is a centre for the performing arts located on the Cardiff Bay waterfront. Opened in November 2004, it has hosted performances of opera, ballet, dance, comedy and musicals.  this week, visited Cardiff council's recycling centre, in Lamby Way, to pick up inspiration for everyday items which create good sounds.

The imaginative musicians, who make rhythmic sounds with comic timings on stage out of everyday discarded waste, took time out to see the council's recycling technology Recycling technology

Methods for reducing solid waste by reusing discarded materials to make new products. The three integral phases of recycling are the collection of recyclable materials, manufacture or reprocessing of these materials into new products, and
 to pick up ideas of what items they could use in future. The show is running at the Wales Millennium Centre until tomorrow. Tickets range from pounds 5 to pounds 25.
