, Switzerland. I am living proof of how exhausting a trade show can be. For four days straight, I-along with thousands of other attendees--hit the pavement pavement, the wearing surface of a road, street, or sidewalk. Parts of Babylon and Troy are believed to have been paved; Roman roads were noted for their durable stone paving. Cobblestones were common from late medieval times into the 19th cent.  hard, trying to visit as many of the approximately 400 exhibitors (that displayed products at this year's largest nonwovens-related trade show) as possible. Between learning about new products as well as other activities companies were anxious to share and catching up with colleagues from around the world, by the end of each day, I was plain exhausted. Of course, most days didn't end with the closing bell of the trade show. It generally has a basis of gin, whisky, rum, or brandy combined with vermouth or fruit juices and often flavored with bitters or grenadine.  party on the horizon.

The 54 companies that participated in this 20th anniversary edition of the NONWOVENS INDUSTRY Expo in Print submitted to us written descriptions of their companies that give our readers a more detailed view of what they do on a day-to-day basis.
