Go Green supplement which is packed full of information on how you can better improve your environment. Firstly, I would like to thank you for your support of the campaign which got off to a flying start in May. Since the last supplement there were a range of environmental stories we continued to report on and put you at the heart of. Firstly there was the launch of the city's Climate Change Festival in June. The eight-day event put Birmingham centre stage in the environmental debate and the range of high-profile speakers, celebrities and community events made the festival a success. But our partners in the Go Green campaign also took part in greener initiatives. Regional development agency AWM have worked with a delegation from Florida who have praised the work of the region in developing green technologies. Aston University has both standard and en-suite accommodation on campus. is now home to a centre that will develop research into greener fuels which will help the environment. See page 41 for more on this story. But the Go Green campaign also embraces the work of our readers in the community from the most senior to the very youngest. We have focused on school children whose hard work has seen them win a range of eco awards. Turn to Page 58 to find out how they got on. We also look at the church congregations that have won a range of Eco Congregation CONGREGATION. A society of a number of persons who compose an ecclesiastical body.
