A SALUTE TO THE 1989

BRAVO to those who walked away with the gold in this year's IABC IABC International Association of Business Communicators
IABC Indo-Americans for Better Community
 Gold Quill Awards program! Nearly 3,000 entries from all over the world represented the best the profession has to offer.

* Ninety-six winners will receive a coveted cov·et

. Gold Quill judges put in long hours of contemplation and care in deciding who's the best.

* Entries were evaluated by two levels of judges. The first tier was made up of 18 teams located around the world. These judges selected three to five entries in each of the categories for final consideration. Final entries then were evaluated in a two-and-a-half day session by a Blue Ribbon blue ribbon

* "To win an award takes careful planning, a quality product and most of all, results," says Chuck Cantor, 1989 Gold Quill chairman. "The winning entries reveal a high level of professionalism, innovation, control, form and message," he adds.

* If you entered, but didn't win an award, you're still a winner. You took the time and made the effort to showcase your talen t and ability. This sets you apart from the crowd; through your efforts, you help set the standards of excellence to which all communicators strive. So, get ready to stroll away with the gold next year!
