A TRAINING company specialising in woodworking machine A Woodworking machine is a machine that is intended to process wood. These machines are usually powered by electric motors and are used extensively in woodworking. Sometimes grinding machines (for grinding woodworking tools) are also considered a part of woodworking machinery.  safety has won an award for the quality of its services.

) has been listed among the nation's elite by UK Wood chain, the trade and professional body responsible for overseeing standards for the country's 1,300 wood product manufacturers.

T he company, headed by directors Julian Earnshaw and Richard Wrigley, is the first firm in West Yorkshire West Yorkshire, former metropolitan county, N central England. Created in the 1974 local government reorganization, the county largely embraced the Leeds conurbation and comprised five metropolitan districts: Calderdale, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, and Kirklees.  to get the accolade.

It was presented by Peter Harl and, chairman of UKWoodchain.

Mr Wrigley said: "We are particularly pleased that the company will be helping to build a better-qualified workforce.

"Safety is the beginning of competitiveness in any industry."

The company's customers include Leeds and North Yorkshire Councils, where Fenay Safety (IOM) provides safety training for technicians in council schools.
