A repeat Injury hits McMillan Test hope.

The capital is Wellington; the largest city and leading port is Auckland.  batsman Craig McMillan Craig Douglas McMillan (born September 13 1976 in Christchurch, Canterbury) is a former New Zealand international cricketer at Test, One-day International and Twenty20 level.  will decide today whether he is fit to face England in the second npower Test after it was confirmed has re-fractured the little finger on his left hand.

McMillan was struck by a Darren Maddy Darren Lee Maddy (born 23 May 1974, Leicester)[1] is an English cricketer who plays first class cricket for Warwickshire. He played three Tests and eight One-day Internationals for England, making one international fifty in his ten innings between 1998 and 2000 before he  delivery in the tourists' match against Leicestershire at Grace Road and team manager Lindsay Crocker said: "The news is that Craig has re-broken the finger in the same place.

"It is still pretty sore and swollen at the moment, and we are waiting for it to settle and the bruising to die down a bit.

"But the plan is that he will have a bat and see how he feels.

"We have also decided to call up Mathew Sinclair, who is over here playing in the East Anglian League, as cover for us in case of any further injuries."

The Black Caps beat Leicestershire by 328 runs, with left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori taking five for 91 in the second innings ( his first five-wicket haul for two-and-a-half years.

New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming added: "It was good for him to get some reward for his bowling.

"He knows he can still get better, but nine wickets in this match will have done a lot for his confidence ahead of the Test match against England at Headingley on Thursday."
