Tyco International Ltd. NYSE: TYC is a diversified manufacturing conglomerate incorporated in Bermuda, with United States operational headquarters in New Jersey.

Dennis Kozlowski Leo Dennis Kozlowski (born November 16 1946, Newark, New Jersey) is a former CEO of Tyco International, convicted of misappropriating more than $400 million of the company's funds. He is currently serving at least eight years and four months in prison.  allegedly used $15,000 in company funds on an umbrella stand--an 1840s French antique, in the shape of a three-foot-high poodle--for his $18 million Manhattan duplex (communications) duplex - Used to describe a communications channel that can carry signals in both directions, in contrast to a simplex channel which only ever carries a signal in one direction. , the company disclosed in a filing with the government.
