A new product line of yeast extracts. (Ingredients).


Atishola AG, in Luterbach, Switzerland, has extended its product line to include yeast extracts. This expansion will see Atisholz moving into the flavourings market due to the ability of yeast extract to intensify flavour, or act as a seasoning in food.

The extracts will be based on the torula Torula

former name for cryptococcus.
 strain, which is unusual; this strain has a high protein content of 60%, contains all essential amino acids, the entire spectrum of B vitamins B vitamins
This family of vitamins consists of thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), biotin, folic acid (B9), and cobalamin (B12).
