Plastics Inc., Rogers, Minn. PVDF has found limited use in blow molding due to low melt strength. Arkema developed a Kynar PVDF formulation formulation /for·mu·la·tion/ (for?mu-la´shun) the act or product of formulating.

with higher melt strength and other desired properties, while ICM devised new tooling and processing techniques to permit blow molding large PVDF containers. The system uses special temperature controllers due to the material's tight processing window. The first application is a 20-liter medical container. ICM aims to pursue high-purity applications for semiconductors and chemicals. Arkema: (215) 419-7520/PT Direct 149GR. ICM:(763) 428-8310. www.icmplastics.com
