During the exhibition, Siemens Nixdorf Printing Systems showcases the 2240 Electronic Printing System. The 2240 is a high-speed printer that produces 8.5 x 11" documents at the rapid rate of 377 images per minute (ipm). Used by many telecommunication companies, direct marketing organizations and financial institutions for rapid output of monthly statements and customer communications, the 2240 Electronic Printing System is one of the fastest printers available on the market today.

Siemens Nixdorf Printing Systems extends the capabilities of its printer family as it demonstrates high-speed, continuous forms, MICR printing using the 2140 Electronic Printing System attached to a Kerning MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) Encoder. Kerning and Siemens Nixdorf Printing Systems are Document Solutions Partners which have joined to offer customers comprehensive document solutions. Through this unique partnership, companies that print applications such as check printing, payroll, or insurance claims now have a high-speed MICR printing alternative. The 2140 printer produces documents at a speed of 210 ipm.

Also on the exhibit floor, Siemens Nixdorf Printing Systems demonstrates its 2030 Electronic Printing System. Printing 30 images per minute, the 2030 printer is ideal for mid-speed, MICR printing applications.

For high quality mid-speed, cut sheet printing solutions Siemens Nixdorf Printing Systems exhibits the 2040 Electronic Printing System. The 2040 printer produces 40 images per minute (ipm) and is configured with the new MultiStream controller, one of the most advanced controllers available in the cut sheet marketplace.

Customers who use the 2040 configured with the MultiStream controller, are provided application flexibilities as it supports Postscript and PCL data streams as well as other emulations, connections and attachments. The device provides users ease of operation in many environments whether functioning as a desktop or within an enterprise. With dual input bins and optional high capacity trays, the printer offers users many paper handling flexibilities. In addition, it provides simplex (one-sided) and duplex (two-sided) printing abilities.
