A new Machine Vision from Dutch Vision. (Packaging Equipment).

Results of the study determine whether the solution should be implemented.  of the inspection demands of the well known HAK jars resulted in a system with six digital colour camera's and six PC's, interconnected via a network and behaving like one machine vision system, capable of inspecting at least 10 jars per second.

During the high speed inspection where jars of vegetables are inspected from all sides and on top with very advanced lighting, numerous items are checked. These include: if the cover has a production code and is not damaged, if there is dirt on the outside of the jar, if there are unwanted visible enclosures like small stones and finally if there are damaged or poorly cleaned vegetables.

 also developed Adaptive Colour Matching to allow for vegetables that vary in colour or shape because they come from another region. Adaptive Colour Matching means that the reference inspection colour is automatically adapted to the average product inspected.
