WITH all this uproar about MPs' expenses how many people know or remember the Labour MP Terry Fields Terence Fields, known as Terry Fields, (born 8 March, 1937) is a British politician and a former Labour Member of Parliament for the (now defunct) constituency of Liverpool Broadgreen from 1983 until 1992. ? I was a shop steward A Labor Union official elected to represent members in a plant or particular department. The shop steward's duties include collection of dues, recruitment of new members, and initial negotiations for settlement of grievances. Cross-references

All he took from his MP salary was what he would have earned as a Fireman, which he was before going to Westminster. When we look at this situation now all MPs from all parties should hide in shame.

We must not forget this expenses situation was put in place by Mrs Thatcher's government, and has just got worse over the years. Terry Fields would turn over in his grave at this.
