A perusal of its recent cover stories proves otherwise. Its most recent cover as of press time featured New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of mayor Michael Bloomberg Michael Rubens Bloomberg (born 14 February 1942) is an American businessman, and the founder of Bloomberg L.P., currently serving as the Mayor of New York City. No wonder Time considers these men heroes; a Time cover last year warned readers to "Be worried. Be very worried" about global warming, and number 5 on its April list of "51 things we can do to save the environment" was "Pay the carbon tax." Time recently ran a cover story titled, "Why amnesty [for illegal immigrants] makes sense," and its editors decided to leave President Bush off its list of the 100 Most Influential People. Sad to see Time going in this direction. The country does not lack for liberal opinion magazines. |
