 (Schwarzenegger), and pushing for economically burdensome caps on carbon emissions (both)? No wonder Time considers these men heroes; a Time cover last year warned readers to "Be worried. Be very worried" about global warming, and number 5 on its April list of "51 things we can do to save the environment" was "Pay the carbon tax." Time recently ran a cover story titled, "Why amnesty [for illegal immigrants] makes sense," and its editors decided to leave President Bush off its list of the 100 Most Influential People. Sad to see Time going in this direction. The country does not lack for liberal opinion magazines.
