A look inside business.Through years of experience with CBC's flagship business program, Venture, Dianne Buckner Dianne Buckner is a Canadian television journalist, best known as a host of business-oriented programming, such as Venture and Dragon's Den, on CBC Television. has searched out businesses ranging from Canadian conglomerates to small and fledgling enterprises and in doing so sought to educate, animate and intrigue audiences. Over decades of research, Buckner has compiled a wealth of knowledge and ideas to help budding entrepreneurs or seasoned businesspersons. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] Having observed hundreds of small companies start up in Canada, Buckner has learned significant lessons about what will help and hinder prospective business owners. Dianne distinguished herself in the field for Venture covering The Economic Crisis in Japan, she traveled to Tokyo in April of 2001 to interview business people there about why the Japanese Finance Minister had declared their economy near collapse. Some of Dianne's other memorable Venture stories include her recent report from New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of , the week after the September 11th attacks On September 11, 2001, in the deadliest case of domestic Terrorism in the history of the United States, a group of 19 terrorists hijacked four U.S. airliners for use as missiles against targets in New York City and Washington, D.C. .
