THE funeral of a cathedral porter who helped visitors and staff for 19 years will be held today.

Alf Harper, 70, was a long-serving member of staff at Durham Cathedral until his retirement in 2002.

After he finished working he maintained his strong links with the cathedral and served as a volunteer until his death on Tuesday, August 7.

David Anthony Kennedy (June 15, 1955 – April 25, 1984) was born in Washington, D.C. He was the fourth of eleven children of Robert F.

He leaves a widow, Laura, a daughter Janice, and son-in-law William, four grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children.
