It provides information to the public about the illness and acts as a support group for those with the disease, providing will be held at the village hall in Falstone, near Bellingham, Northumberland, on Saturday. Pupil awarded A TEENAGER was honoured by the Mayor of Middlesbrough yesterday. Danny Woodhouse, 16, was born with Morquio's Syndrome, which means his internal organs continue to grow but his skeleton doesn't. Danny, a former pupil at The Newlands Catholic School, underwent major surgery a year ago. He is now back at home but requires constant nursing.
