ROY Keane Roy Maurice Keane (born 10 August, 1971 in Mayfield, Cork City, Ireland) is an Irish former professional footballer and the current manager of English Premier League club Sunderland. quit as manager of Sunderland Football Club yesterday, having decided he was not the right man to lead the club away from the Premier League relegation zone and, hopefully, to bigger and better things.
