A greener way to school.A SCHOOL'S bid to get more pupils walking or cycling to school has been given the thumbs up by the UK's Transport Minister. Sadiq Kahn MP visited Plantation Plantation, city (1990 pop. 66,692), Broward co., SE Fla., a residential suburb of Fort Lauderdale; inc. 1953. The city has grown rapidly along with the development of S Florida. Primary School, in Halewood. The school's transport plan includes a new pathway and dedicated cycle lane. And Mr Khan said schools like Plantation Juniors were an example to follow. "I want every child who wants to walk or cycle to school to be able to get there safely."
