A gem of a way to help charity.


THE Royal National Lifeboat Institution The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is a charity that saves lives at sea around the coasts of Great Britain and Ireland. It was founded on 4 March 1824 as the National Institution for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck  is appealing for people to donate their unwanted jewellery to help save lives at sea.

Items such as rings, bracelets bracelets

the rings of hair on the hind legs of Poodles.
, chains and watches would all be gratefully received by the charity which has received more than pounds 400,000 through the appeal since 1986.

Roy Norgrove, appeal organiser, said: "Over 20,000 lives have been saved by the RNLI RNLI (in Britain) Royal National Lifeboat Institution

 since our appeal began. The RNLI is supported entirely by voluntary contributions and legacies, receiving no financial assistance from the government."

Jewellery should be sent to Mr Norgrove, RNLI, West Quay WestQuay is a shopping centre in Southampton, England.

WestQuay has an area of 800,000 square feet (0 m) of retail space (74,000 m²) and contains around a hundred shops, including major retailers such as, John
 Road, Poole, Dorset, BH15 1HZ.
