The new library features a special mural of Welsh book characters and a cosy reading corner for children to settle down with a good story.

Teacher Ceri Price said the school is very grateful to parents, who kindly donated a wide range of brand new and good quality second hand books for the library.

She said: "We owe a big thank-you to all the parents. We've been really pleasantly surprised by the amount of support we've got.

"There's a lot of excitement about the new library in school and we've had a really good week of activities celebrating reading in preparation for its opening."
