A fit of the giggles on Wooster.

Madison HGCD recently announced that it closed a deal for giggle, the one-stop source for today's new parents offering a complete checklist of only the best products for a smarter nursery.

The 2,500 s/f New York flagship, located at 120 Wooster St. in SoHo, is the retailer's first New York location and joins the company's first store in San Francisco.

Richard Hodos, president of Madison HGCD and Christian Damerow, director at Madison HGCD represented Giggle in the deal.

Faith Hope Consolo of Prudential Douglas Elliman represented the landlord.

giggle joins a neighborhood already packed with popular retail locations, such as A/X Armani Exchange, Prada, Kenneth Cole, Zara, Pottery Barn, Sephora, and others.

"We always single out very strong neighborhoods for our clients," said Hodos.

"We wanted to ensure giggle's introduction to New York consumers would be perfect match for them on a number of levels."

The SoHo store was renovated to include unique touches like a stroller parking lot and a baby changing room with giggle diaper care provisions.

The high-ceilinged space features a large skylight and the original wainscoting and moldings to maintain the distinctive SoHo character found throughout the neighborhood.

A second giggle store on the Upper East Side, at 1033 Lexington Avenue at 74th Street, is set to open its doors in time for the holidays.

That deal was also brokered by Madison HGCD for giggle. Ken Levine of Eugene Grant & Co. represented the landlord.

Madison HGCD is a partner of Madison Marquette, an affiliate of international investment firm Capital Guidance Corporation, which oversees more than 23 million s/f retail and mixed-use properties throughout the United States.
