A drip pan hazmat plan.

DRIP ...

DRIP ...

DRIP

Y'HEAR THAT?

THAT'S THE FAINT SOUND HEARD HERE AND THERE AROUND THE MOTOR POOL.

IT'S THE SOUND OF OIL LEAKING FROM VEHICLES.

OR IT COULD BE LEAKING FUEL, LUBRICANT, ANTIFREEZE antifreeze, substance added to a solvent to lower its freezing point. The solution formed is called an antifreeze mixture. Antifreeze is typically added to water in the cooling system of an internal-combustion engine so that it may be cooled below the freezing point  OR BRAKE FLUID brake fluid nlíquido de frenos

.

WHATEVER'S DRIPPING, ONCE IT SEEPS INTO THE GROUND, IT'S CONSIDERED HAZARDOUS MATERIAL.

SO, UNTIL YOU GET THOSE LEAKS FIXED, PUT SOME DRIP PANS UNDER THEM!

HERE ARE A FEW REMINDERS FOR USING DRIP PANS ...

LOOK AT THE PANS EVERY DAY, BEFORE AND AFTER WORK. EMPTY THEM INTO APPROVED HAZMAT CONTAINERS OR DRUMS.

NEVER ALLOW PANS TO OVERFLOW. HAZMAT WILL RUN DOWN DRAINS AND EVENTUALLY POLLUTE pol·lute
v.
1. To make unfit for or harmful to living things, especially by the addition of waste matter; contaminate.

2. To make less suitable for an activity, especially by the introduction of unwanted factors.
 GROUND WATER.

OVERFLOWING PANS ALSO CREATE CLEANUP HEADACHES. THAT MEANS MORE WORK, MORE PAPERWORK AND MORE COSTS FOR YOUR UNIT.

IF VEHICLES ARE LEFT OUTSIDE ON RAINY DAYS Rainy Days itself isn't an official XYZ release, it's a collection of demo tapes from 1985 which has been released by guitarist Bobby Pieper, who recorded the said demos with the band. , CHECK THE DRIP PANS OFTEN. YOU DON'T WANT PANS FILLING WITH RAINWATER, OVERFLOWING AND SPREADING HAZMAT.

PLASTIC DRIPS PANS CAN CRACK AND LEAK.

BUT RUBBER PANS WON'T CRACK, AND THEY'LL SNAP BACK IF THEY'RE CRUSHED.

GET RUBBER PANS WITH THESE NSNs ...

. HE HAS THE EQUIPMENT AND KNOW-HOW TO GET RID OF HAZARDOUS WASTE Hazardous waste

Any solid, liquid, or gaseous waste materials that, if improperly managed or disposed of, may pose substantial hazards to human health and the environment. Every industrial country in the world has had problems with managing hazardous wastes.
 SAFELY.

ONE OTHER THING: IT'S NOT JUST DRIP PANS AND THEIR CONTENTS YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT.

COMMON ITEMS LIKE DRY SWEEP AND RAGS BECOME SOAKED AND CONTAMINATED contaminated,

2. made contaminated by adding infective or radiographic materials.
3. an infective surface or object.
WITH FUEL, OIL, SOLVENTS AND THE LIKE. THEY, TOO, MUST BE HANDLED AS HAZARDOUS WASTE.

AS ALWAYS, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, TALK WITH YOUR UNIT'S HAZMAT OFFICER OR NCO OR THE ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICE SUPPORTING YOUR UNIT OR INSTALLATION.
