 in 1983.

The event was a triumph for the boys and officers with tributes and plaudits from all who saw them. That visit was hosted by our namesake city, Coventry in Connecticut.

It would be great to hear from anyone with memories to share with us. The Coventry, USA, band made the return trip to the UK hosted by Coventry the following year. We have built strong bonds of friendship around Europe and the States.

In 1986 we were invited to muster a band from former members to play at the Albert Hall and despite advancing years and family responsibilities rehearsals started in earnest and the old boys' band came to life. The old drills and disciplines came flooding back. Like riding a bike really, you never forget.

The old boys association has re-formed regularly since then and leads the Kenilworth British Legion parade on Remembrance Sunday.
