A classic note at festival.


FRENCH pianists Duo Scaramouche performed at the penultimate event of Bahrain's 18th International Music Festival last night at the Arts Centre An art center or arts centre is distinct from an art gallery or art museum. An arts centre is a functional community centre with a specific remit to encourage arts practice and to provide facilities such as theatre space, gallery space, venues for musical performance, , near the Bahrain National Museum Since 1988 a rich collection of Bahrain's ancient archaeological artifacts have been on display at the purpose-built Bahrain National Museum. The museum covers 6000 years of Bahrain's history.  in Manama.

Playing music from the classical to the contemporary, their ambition is to enlighten the world to piano duets.

The three brothers used the event to pay a posthumous tribute to late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish Mahmoud Darwish (Arabic: محمود درويش; born 1941 in Al-Birwah, British Mandate of Palestine) is a contemporary Palestinian poet and writer of prose.  during their performance of Shade of Words - a highly acclaimed production that examined the Palestinian condition.
