A chance to direct scenes.


Aspiring theatre directors are invited to bring to life the play behind Julie Walters' film Educating Rita Educating Rita is an award-winning stage comedy by British playwright Willy Russell. It is a play for two actors set entirely in the office of a university lecturer.  at a workshop next month.

Cloud Nine Theatre Company will run the day-long event at The Magnesia Magnesia, ancient cities, Lydia
Magnesia (măgnē`zhə), two ancient cities of Lydia, W Asia Minor (now W Turkey). They were colonies of the Magnetes, a tribe of E Thessaly.
 Bank, North Shields.

Participants will get the chance to work with actors and create scenes from the Willie Russell play in sessions led by Damian Cruden, artistic director at York Theatre Royal.
