A busy year for HCPro.

With five acquisitions in 2006, it proved to be a busy year for HCPro, Inc. HCPro's first acquisition of the year was the purchase of Bandido Books, a well-known publisher of clinical nursing books geared toward staff nurses, nurse managers, and nurse educators. HCPro's second acquisition of 2006 was the purchase of Contemporary Long-Term Care.

In June, HCPro closed its largest deal to date, acquiring HRAI Coding Specialists, LLC, providers of educational courses in the form of intensive, hands-on, multi-day Boot Camps. The company's fourth acquisition of 2006 was the purchase of National Health Information, LLC, a business-to-business healthcare publisher with subscription newsletters and books in managed care, as well as in several of HCPro's other core markets. In November, HCPro made its fifth acquisition of the year with the purchase of QualityCare, continuing its expansion into the long-term care education sector. QualityCare's line of manuals, books, videos, and training tools has a long-established reputation for excellence.
