Williams & Associates (LCWA LCWA Lake County Water Authority (Florida) ) in 1985, he was a senior vice president of Hill & Knowlton, Inc., where he was national division resource in employee communication and communication audits and research. Williams is a frequent public speaker and has conducted hundreds of seminars in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Pacific Rim on subjects ranging from crisis communication to strategic planning. He is co-author of "Inside Organizational Communication," a textbook on employee communication. In 1995, Williams was selected as one of the 25 most influential forces in the history of IABC. His current leadership of the association ensures a smooth and orderly transition, and positions IABC for a robust and influential future. Al Wann, ABC, APR, senior consultant with the Cantor Concern, an executive search firm, will lead efforts to find a new CEO for IABC Wann says, "IABC is a respected organization and the CEO job is a highly visible position. I don't believe we'll be wanting for candidates. In fact, the challenge will be finding someone exceptional from among the merely excellent." Wann, a past chairman of IABC and an IABC Fellow, adds that it is certain that the committee will look both inside and outside of IABC, and globally. "It is likely we will post the position notification on the big job web sites as well as those specific to communication and association management."
