A bloody reminder.

AS we all get on with our lives, we forget that life in Iraq is still a daily hell for many.

The bombing in a crowded marketplace on Friday was a reminder that the mess we contributed to is still there.

It is no accident that this happened just days after George Bush told the American people in his State of the Union address “State of the Union” redirects here. For other uses, see State of the Union (disambiguation).
The State of the Union is an annual address in which the President of the United States reports on the status of the country, normally to a joint session of Congress (the
 that all was going well in Iraq since the US surge.

I doubt if the pictures and deaths beaming across the world will tell people that all is well.

All is far from well and the people of Iraq must not be forgotten.
