As part of its 100th birthday celebration, Thermos is introducing a number of new products to its beverage-ware line. The Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based company is unveiling Raya, a line featuring products that have contoured shapes and distinct rubber grips and are available in vibrantly colored polycarbonate A category of plastic materials used to make a myriad of products, including CDs and CD-ROMs.  and stainless steel stainless steel: see steel.

Thermos branded its vacuum technology TherMax so consumers can identify the products that will keep their foods and beverages fresher and safer. "With the increased attention being paid to healthier eating and concerns about foodborne illnesses, consumers are looking for ways to take healthier, fresh foods from home, so it's important to educate them on keeping the foods they pack safer," says Dias. "TherMax provides a superior food storage alternative to non-insulated plastic containers."
