LANCASTER - Five distinct musical styles will be featured in concerts this month at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. .

Seventies pop vocalist Christopher Cross Christopher Cross (born Christopher Geppert on May 3 1951) is an American singer-songwriter. His works have earned him five Grammy Awards, an Oscar, and a Golden Globe.  will perform on Saturday his hits such as ``Ride Like the Wind,'' ``Sailing,'' ``Arthur's Theme'' and ``Think of Laura,'' as well as new material.

The musical ``The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas'' will be performed Jan. 18.

Brought back for a second year, local Christian pop, rock and gospel bands will perform together in ``Make a Joyful Noise II.'' Part of the Adelphia Best of the Black Box series, the show runs Jan. 21 and 22.

Folk singer Glenn Yarbrough Glenn Yarbrough (born January 12, 1930) is an American folk singer. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland. He was the lead singer with The Limeliters and had a prolific solo career, recording on various labels.  will star Jan. 26 in a folk reunion concert that will include Rick Dougherty, formerly of The Limeliters; Dick Foley of The Brothers Four and Doug Harman.

Rock group the Moody Blues' Jan. 30 concert is sold out. Fans can get on a waiting list by calling the box office.

All showtimes are at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 for Cross, $30 and $35 for ``Best Little Whorehouse,'' $26 for Yarborough yar·bor·ough
