A TISKET, A TASKET, EMMY'S MIGHTY BIG BASKET.

Byline: - Barbara De Witt De Witt, uninc. town (1990 pop. 8,244), Onondaga co., central N.Y., a residential suburb of Syracuse.

Winning isn't everything.

At the Emmy awards, those TV stars who hand out the precious little gold statuettes to others don't go home totally empty-handed.

They get a reward for their trouble, and it's a hefty one. We're talking about that coveted cov·et
v. cov·et·ed, cov·et·ing, cov·ets

v.tr.
1. To feel blameworthy desire for (that which is another's). See Synonyms at envy.

2. To wish for longingly. See Synonyms at desire.
 40-pound goodie good·ie
n.
Variant of goody1.
basket given by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to presenters and committee chairmen.

``There are so many goodies this year, from fold-up bicycles to roller board scooters, that we had a lot of trouble wrapping the basket,'' says Wally August of Fanci Full Gift Baskets in Hollywood. And the result is awesome, he reports, with the huge rectangular basket with a wooden lid (the basket, from Longaberger of Ohio, is valued at $200) wrapped in black velvet with star-printed tulle Tulle (tl, Fr. tül), town (1990 pop. 18,685), capital of Corrèze dept., S central France. Firearms and other goods are made there. Tulle was built around a 7th-century monastery.  and accented with glittery plumes.
