The hottest Latino dance troupe HAVANA NIGHT SHOW, who has been performing for more than a year at the Stardust star·dust n. 1. A dreamlike, romantic, or uncritical sense of well-being. 2. Nicole ND Durr, the producer, director, and creative force behind the project, energized the audience with humor and emotion as she sincerely expressed her gratefulness, while recounting stories about how important this year has been for everyone. Immediately afterwards began an unplugged performance of the show's hit songs like "Marieta", composed and performed for the first time in public by the show's lead singer, Dikan. Then, nineteen year old vocal phenomenon, Deyanira joined Dikan on stage, and performed an outstanding solo; and endearing and classy rendition of Beny More's timeless piece, "Oh Vida". The dance troupe then proceeded to add spark to the evening with energetic rhythms and colorful dances. A press conference was held after the outstanding performance. ND and her "onstage children" joked and answered questions with spontaneity from a select group of journalists who then applauded ND and the incomparable dance troupe for their admirable work. ND auctioned off pieces from the photo art she created; a limited edition she calls, "LA CARA CARA Chicago Area Runners Association CARA Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (Washington, DC) CARA Center for Astrophysical Research in Antarctica CARA Classification and Rating Administration LINDA DE CUBA" with proceeds benefiting the children's charity, "Amigos AMIGOS Advanced Mobile Integration in General Operating Systems Together for Kids"...."we believe in giving back because we receive so much", commented ND. The event at the Teatro Tower brought together a host of celebrities. During one of many poignant moments, Cuban music icon OLGA GUILLOT stood up to thank ND for her work and vision in bringing together a group of this magnitude and talent and for having earned the much deserved respect from everyone present.
