A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR: SWEET SUCCESS; Each week we catch up with a reader Sir Alan has helped on the road to success.

COLIN Alladice contacted Sir Alan in June 2003 asking for advice about a new earth fitting he had developed to make it quicker to install boilers.

SIR Alan's advice to me was invaluable. I had a lot of invention companies contact me trying to get me to part with money, but on his advice I stayed well away from them.

products locally and we are looking for UK and European distributors to help us meet this demand which, hopefully, we will soon have in place.

I'd like to thank Sir Alan for his excellent support and encouragement in the very early days.

He really did help me to get my scheme off the ground.
