A ROYAL TOUCH FOR VOGUE PATTERNS NEW YORK, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Vogue Patterns has recently
collaborated with London's leading Couture House, Hartnell, to launch a line of styles chosen from both the haute couture and pret-a-Porter ready-to-wear collections. Celebrated for generations as dressmaker to the queen and the royal family, Hartnell has also recently attained the design talents of the renowned European Couturier and once mantle of Christian Dior, Marc Bohan, who has taken on the role of Artistic & Design Director.
The first three Hartnell styles to be features, on the cover and insert of the March 1992 Vogue Patterns Catalog (available in January) and Vogue Patterns Magazine, include an elegantly shaped two-piece suit with portrait collar, a debonair cocktail dress with shirred bodice, sheer yoke and dramatic fly-away back, and a sophisticated day suit with a long jacket and pleat-bottom dress, all from Marc Bohan's first collection with Hartnell. Two additional styles will follow in the fall 1992 catalog. Vogue Patterns is currently the leading licenser of both American and European designer patterns, which are available along with the catalogs and magazines at fine fabric stores.
