A RIPE TIME FOR GUIDES.

Byline: Howard Drury

NOT a day goes by without more gardening catalogues dropping through my door.

One I'm really excited about is the new list from Totally Tomatoes.

Based in Newton Abbot You may be looking for Newton Abbot (UK Parliament constituency) , the company has a most marvellous catalogue listing hundreds of new varieties.

I've been a great fan of Sungold from Thompson Thompson, city, Canada
Thompson, city (1991 pop. 14,977), central Man., Canada, on the Burntwood River. A mining town, it developed after large nickel deposits were discovered in the area in 1956.
& Morgan Morgan, American family of financiers and philanthropists.

Junius Spencer Morgan, 1813–90, b. West Springfield, Mass., prospered at investment banking.
for many years but I now learn from the catalogue that Sungold has given rise to offspring off·spring
n.
1. The progeny or descendants of a person, animal, or plant considered as a group.

2. A child of particular parentage.
. We now have Suncherry and Sunsugar and Suncherry Extra Sweet.

Contact Totally Tomatoes at PO Box 202, Newton Abbot TQ12 6ZH or ring them on 01803 389516 to receive their catalogue.

Another great read is the new catalogue from Elm House Nursery, renowned for their selection of Chrysanthemums. They've now diversified diversified (di·verˑ·s  into the general young plant market.

Elm House Nursery can be contacted at Freepost PE141, PO Box 25, Wisbech, Cambs PE13 2XB or on 01945 581 511.
