A REFFIN SHAME; CIFA CHAMPIONSHIP GRANT CAMERON SCORES EACH WEEK WITH TOP CLASS COVERAGE Law fumes as bosses begin to feel the heat.

LIFE in the pressure cooker of Championship football is taking its toll... on managers.

Glebe GLEBE, eccl. law. The land which belongs to a church. It is the dowry of the church. Gleba est terra qua consistit dos ecclesiae. Lind. 254; 9 Cranch, Rep. 329. Larne manager Graham McConnell is now serving an eight-match suspension although it relates to an incident against Lisburn Distillery last season.

Law will join them after his recent outburst, although he was free to take his place pitch side at Banbridge Town on Saturday.

The Rangers man says: "Everyone in football seems to be having a go at referees and I appreciate that they have a difficult job but I honestly believe there seems to be a lack of consistency, especially at our level.

"It's almost as if smaller clubs seem to get a harsh deal when it comes to decisions against them - especially in games against clubs who have been in the top league," he claims.

Law accepts that he was out of order when he erupted after a decision given against an opposing Larne player for a tackle on one of his players.

He says he was incensed by the ref's take on the incident which he feels merited a red card rather than a caution.

"All I am asking for is fair play.

There is a lot at stake in this league with teams attempting to avoid the relegation battle."

He welcomes the fact that referees' assistants have been introduced but points out that the referees' match fees and cost of renting their Riada Stadium venue in Ballymoney outweigh out·weigh

Meanwhile, Rangers have secured the services of defender Simon Logan from Tobermore United.

Rangers boss Johnny Law said: "He is a good young player and will be a great asset to my squad.
