Research is uppermost in everyone's mind, so a two-part research program will be presented--live and worldwide--on the Web site, <www.nmss.org> on Friday, November 17, 1:30-3:30 pm Eastern time. The talk will be followed by questions from a worldwide audience via e-mail, fielded by Dr. Lublin and a distinguished panel, including Dr. Roland Martin Roland Martin can refer to at least two individuals:
  • Roland S. Martin - American journalist, nationally syndicated columnist
  • Roland Martin (fisherman) - host of American fishing show on Outdoor Life Network
, acting chief of the Cellular Immunology Section of the National Institute for Neurological Disorders This is a list of major and frequently observed neurological disorders (e.g. Alzheimer's disease), symptoms (e.g.back pain), signs (e.g. aphasia) and syndromes (e.g. Aicardi syndrome).  and Stroke. Panel moderator will be Dr. Stephen Reingold, vice president, Research Programs at the Society.

The conference will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel The Shoreham Hotel is a hotel in Northwest Washington, D.C., owned by Omni Hotels. It is located at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Calvert Street. Built in 1930, the building was designed by Waddy Butler Wood.  in Washington, D.C., November 15-18. More than 90 workshops and training sessions are scheduled, along with a Thursday evening party at the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum. Exhibitors will display and demonstrate their latest MS-related products and services throughout the 3V2 days. Registration is now closed but the conference is open to one-day participants on Wednesday or Thursday. People with MS are invited to attend on Friday, free of charge.
