The Boston Ballet is a professional ballet company based in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1963 by E. Virginia Williams and was the first professional repertory ballet company in New England.

Blalock's work was also featured prominently in the recent production of Without Words, choreographed by Nacho Duato Juan Ignacio Duato Bárcia, also known as Nacho Duato (Valencia, 8 January 1957) is a Spanish classical ballet dancer and choreographer. After a long and successful career, he was selected by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Education as the artistic director of the .
