Government budget cuts slashed funding 25 percent two years ago. That resulted in the program having to drop 70 seniors by cutting three delivery routes. The program now delivers meals to 195 people. ``We have been unable to come up from that since then,'' Davis said. It costs $36.25 to provide a senior with meals for a week (Monday through Friday). Each meal consists of a main dish, vegetable, fruit, milk, bread and dessert. To qualify for the program, seniors must be 60 or older, homebound home·bound adj.
