A Monster mistake.. but States can teach us lots.

THERE'S an awful lot we could learn from America about the facilities at sports stadia.

The range of food, the range of memorabilia, the activities for kids and the prices of all of them at AT&T Park, for instance, put our arenas to shame. And one other thing to learn: don't go too far down the naming rights Naming rights are the right to name a piece of property, either tangible property or an event, usually granted in exchange for financial considerations. Institutions like schools, places of worship and hospitals have a tradition of granting donors the right to name facilities in  route if you want to keep your dignity. I drove past the San Francisco 49ers
    The San Francisco 49ers are a professional American football team. The team plays its home games in San Francisco, California, while the club's headquarters and practice facility are located in Santa Clara, California.
     stadium on the way into the city on Monday, still cursing the fact its name had been changed to the awful 3Com Park. Turns out I'm three years out of date. It's now called Monster Park Coordinates:

    San Francisco 49ers
        
    , in tribute to a company called Monster Cable.

    Someone should tell the 49ers that sometimes money isn't everything. However much they're getting, it's not worth it.
