A Mark Twain weekend symposium: "Mark Twain's travel books: 'en route'.".The Elmira College Center for Mark Twain Studies will host a one-and-a-half day symposium featuring two of Mark Twain's travel books, A Tramp Abroad (1880), and Following the Equator (1897). The symposium will include a dinner and Keynote Address on Friday evening, ten paper presentations on Saturday, and a concluding dinner in the Barn at Quarry Farm on Saturday evening. Conference fee: $130 (not including housing).
