WALNUT - After successful football careers at Hart High of Newhall, Matt Moore, Chris Steck and Chris Frome were impressive once again - at the 51st Shrine All-Star Classic.

Moore completed 8 of 12 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more scores. Steck was the leading receiver with three receptions for 56 yards. Steck's 18-yard reception greased South's opening drive, climaxed by Moore's 1-yard touchdown run.

The game was marred by 14 personal fouls, numerous minor scuffles and one ejection.

``Yeah, there were a lot of penalties but that's the way all-star games are,'' Frome said. ``Everyone wants to make the crowd go 'oh' and `ah.' ''
