I am honored to have been elected the Association's Chairman of the Board, and I'm pleased that Major General Leo Leo, in astronomy

 J. Baxter, US Army, Retired, is our new President. The Association Board restructure also includes an Executive Committee, comprised of members based predominantly in the Fort Sill area, enabling it to meet monthly. With an active President and Executive Committee located at the Home of the Field Artillery, we can intensify our efforts to grow and strengthen the Association.

On page 47 of this FA Journal, you will find a complete listing of our new Board of Directors. Proud Army and Marine Field Artillerymen all, they will work hard for you to fulfill their responsibilities as stated in the Association's Bylaws The rules and regulations enacted by an association or a corporation to provide a framework for its operation and management.

I am excited about their enthusiasm, vitality and initiatives that already have increased membership and revenue, benefiting all Association members.

We continue to serve Army and Marine Field Artillerymen worldwide, and we promote chapter growth as one of the ways to spread the good word about our branch. Every Field Artilleryman is a potential Association member, and I encourage all present members to help us recruit commissioned officers, warrant officers and noncommissioned officers non·com·mis·sioned officer

I salute our Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve Commanders worldwide, the Association's Corporate and Small Business Members, and all our individual members -- both active and our "still serving" retirees -- for supporting your Association and the Field Artillery -- the KING OF BATTLE!
